課程概述 |
This course is designed to introduce students to the basic understandings of theatre history, literature and production. Students will be guided through the following topics: dramatic genres, theatre architecture, acting, directing, scenography, audience and the history of the theatre in the West. |
|
課程目標 |
This course aims to introduce students to all the aspects of drama and theatrical performance from the theoretical to the practical. Students will also learn the basic skill of how to read a dramatic text and to hear its potential for performance. |
|
課程要求 |
Students are required to see and write analyses of two live performances. In addition, they have to sit in two 3-hour exam papers. |
